As we leave behind the familiar comforts of home and venture into the unknown, we enter a phase of significant transition and transformation. Packing our bags with trinkets of ever-important belongings, nostalgic memories and a space to welcome newness, we set forth from the home that nurtured us to a new one - that holds so much in store.
College is a place where we discover new perspectives and insights, forge meaningful connections and take steps towards realizing our dreams. It's one day at a time, and as we blink, an entire journey of three years comes to a close. Our journey here represents a pivotal moment in our life which can be both exciting and daunting.
We at Réveil, embody a Caravan to be this very collective journey. As we traverse through the copious facets of college life, together as one batch, a collective belongingness brews. The theme for this year’s annual magazine aims to capture the essence of the college experience while providing a forum for everyone to share their thoughts, escapades and accomplishments. Just as a caravan ventures by encountering new people and places along the way, brimming with excitement and wanderlust - so do our three years at university.
‘Caravan: The Journey Unfolds’, conjures up images of a diverse group of travelers heading on an adventure together, facing adversities, learning from one another, and flourishing as a community with tremendous camaraderie.
The theme honors this journey of development and discovery, motivating us to seize the prospects as well as obstacles that come our way and keep pursuing our aspirations.
As we embark on this journey, we are like a caravan of travelers, each with our own goals and aspirations, each with different dreams of travel, but moving together towards a common destination. Sips of hot chai on an early morning trek, loud music blasting with a chorus of tone deaf voices on a road trip, weekend shopping sprees and restaurant hopping, or even small trips across the criss-cross traffic-filled lanes of Koramangala - every journey counts, every journey matters; and this Caravan trails through it all.
