Rapid Fire ft. Best Manager

There can only be 1 Best!
And how do you get to be that one? Event Heads Dhruv Shah, Sanchit Patwari and Utkarsh Agarwal are here to help you out!

Q - Why should participants choose BM?

As the event name suggests, Best Manager will provide our participants with skills required from all other events (that is CS, Marketing, HR, PR, Finance, BQ and ED). An experience of all events under one! The massive amount of learning, growth and most importantly, the recognition that an individual experiences through the Best Manager event is absolutely worth the experience!

Q - Apart from what the name conveys, what do you think is the essence of your event?

The essence of Best Manager is the ability of participants to keep one’s chin up and have the zeal to learn to the maximum! In terms of skill set, our participants are the ones who believe in tackling different challenges thrown at them in the most candid and structured manner while being extremely professional. If you believe that you are someone who carries the diligence and charm along with the agility to crunch down the competition to emerge as the best, this event is definitely the place for you!

Q - Do you really have to pull an all-nighter for overnighters?

Under most circumstances, overnighters don’t essentially require an all-nighter considering you are able to break down a deliverable into sub-elements which are easier for you to comprehend. One easy hack here would be to allocate a rough time frame for each and every deliverable and try sticking to that while completing your task, this will help you to stay on track without being under the impression of overburdening yourself.

Q - What’s a classic round/task that participants can look forward to in your event?

Since our event is a combination of different domains, all our tasks carry an element of surprise and excitement! Participants would never feel monotonous in Best Manager as you are never restricted within the boundaries of one specific area. You get to be your own master without essentially being dependent on a teammate, amidst a healthy pool of competitors aiming to win the glorious title of being “The Best”.

Q - What do you expect from a participant when delivering on-spots?

Presence of mind and a composed persona is something that is extremely significant for participants to deliver during on-spots. Especially, when the element of stress is induced, it is important for participants to think on their feet and come up with ideas which are unconventional and feasible enough to be executed.

Be logically coherent, crisp and most importantly, be yourself, in order to ace on-spots!

Q - On an endnote, what are the last words you would like to leave your participants with?

Do not consider fests to be just a mere competition. Fests are a stepping stone into the corporate world which helps you delve deeper into this extremely competitive space. Choose an event, which adds value to your personality and helps you learn the maximum.

Do not fear the competition at all. The end result would definitely be gratifying and rewarding, and lastly, the mantra to succeed in fests is to remind yourself to push harder and persist as quitting just helps someone else to climb up the ladder.

May the Best Manager win :)
